Music is an integral part of Minneapolis’ history and culture which is why the City wants to hear from you about what aspects are most important. Already 100 buildings related to music history in Minneapolis have been identified.
Join Preserve Minneapolis and the City of Minneapolis on March 20 at 6:00PM at the Capri Theater for an open house event to help narrow down what is most important to preserve as representations of how music changed the city.
The City is interested in hearing your stories, seeing photographs of places where you performed or listened to Minneapolis music, or even seeing audio or video footage if you have it.
Check out the project website for more details. See you March 20!
